Patagonian Expedition Race: It's here and now!

There have been over 500 km of adventure through the most unexplored corners of the mythical and legendary Tierra del Fuego. We have walked the steppe, we have entered the Karukinka forest, we have crossed the dreadful “Death Pass” of the Cordillera Darwin and we have paddled in the magical waters of Canal Beagle. In sum, it has been both a difficult and unforgettable experience.

The unique complexity of the geography, the isolation, the long distances and the weather have merged to create a demanding race for all those who have taken part in this adventure at the end of the world. Half way through, in a 110 kilometer trek, 6 out of 11 teams could not continue.

Out of five consecutive editions, this is the third time France is victorious and the second an American woman finishes in first place. Team www.authentic-nutrition.com made up of Bruno Rey (Captain), Teresa Ellen Dewitt, Cyril Margaritas, and Philippe Danneau, won with a time breach of 12 hours

Second place is for team CANARIAS-ANDALUCIA. SPIUK TENERIFE from Spain made up of David García (captain), Loreto García, Roberto López, and Ildelfonso Cozar.

Third place was quite a surprise, team TOUAREG TURK from Turkey , made up of Ali Rıza Bilal (Captain), Bakiye Duran, Utkuer Yaşar, and Faruk Kar.

In fourth place was team LITTLETON BIKE & FITNESS from USA made up of David Stiles (Captain), Jennifer Johnson, Jason Lane, and Jamie Myers.
